Your skin is a living organ, your body's largest living organ in fact, and it obtains a freshness and radiant appearance from a combination of, using the correct products for your skin type, eating a balanced diet, minimal expose to the sun, and maintaining a well balanced immune system.

Although our skin has many functions, the most important are protection of the invasion of toxins into our body, regulation of body fluids and maintaining internal temperature, sensory reception information to our nervous system, and coetaneous absorption of nutrients and excretion of toxins.

Did you know that up to 25% of your bodies waste materials are eliminated via your skin? If your body's toxins are not being eliminated, this will put undue burden on the lungs, kidneys and bowels. Your skin then will take over to assist with this elimanation, and the result can lead to rashes, congested skin and other related problems.

 

There are two aging processes of the skin;

 

1:: The natural biological aging process is unfortunately, unavoidable. It does vary from person to person, and this becomes apparent at an earlier or later stage in life, and also a different rate, according to the individual.

2:: Accelerated skin aging, due to environmental and life-style. This may depend largely on the way we live our life, and the extremely negative conditions to which the skin is subjected; sun, pollution, smoking, alcohol, illness, stress, and a low protein diet.

 

We believe at OSHE that there is no one cream that will erase the time of our age. What we do believe though is through the correct nutrients that we take into our diet, and the correct nourishment that we apply to our skin, and protecting our skin from the sun as much as possible, we can definitely slow down the aging process both internally and externally and age gracefully naturally.
